Vijayawada, June-09-2025 Brotherhood Vijayawada, a fast growing business and social welfare group, marked a significant milestone by organizing a special event to support underprivileged families ahead of upcoming weddings. Essential items such as cots, mattresses, and almirahs were distributed to deserving households as part of their ongoing commitment to community service. Speaking to the media, Mr. Abdul Jameel Khadri, Organising Member of Brotherhood Vijayawada, shared that the organization was formed just 14 months ago, yet it has grown rapidly with the active involvement of over 250 business members. The work that usually takes four years, our team has achieved in just over a year, he noted proudly. In the past year, the Brotherhood has hosted several impactful events including a badminton tournament, which received the appreciation of the Hon’ble Sports Minister, who also assured a ₹1 lakh fund to support their future charity and sports activities. Our goal is not just business Development but social responsibility, Mr. Jameel added. He encouraged business people to collaborate for economic development while extending support to the needy, especially for causes like marriage assistance, education, and health care. Brotherhood Vijayawada has also been running awareness campaigns through social media and printed pamphlets to reach more people in need and spread knowledge about their ongoing welfare initiatives. Memorial Tribute to Late Sri Maha Basha Held in Kondapalli

Kondapalli, June 8, 2025 — A heartfelt memorial event titled Let Us Share the Memories of Late Sri Maha Basha was organized by Jana Vignana Vedika and Dr. Zakir Hussain College at Kranti High School, Kondapalli. The event honored the life and legacy of Sri Maha Basha, who passed away on May 12, 2025. Esteemed speakers, including former MLCs Shri Vithapu Balasubrahmanyam, Sri K.S. Lakshman Rao, and Dr. M. Geyanand, remembered Basha as a champion of literacy, a promoter of scientific thought, and a devoted educator. Tributes also poured in from Sri Najeef Pasha, Sri Abdul Mateen, and Sri A.K. Over 5,000 Students Placed in Massive Job Fair at KL University

Vaddeswaram, June 2025: KL Deemed to be University achieved a major milestone in campus placements this year, with over 5,000 students successfully placed and more than 7,000 job offers extended during its mega job fair held on campus. The Placement Success Meet, conducted on Saturday, witnessed the presence of industry leaders, university officials, and proud parents celebrating this achievement. Vice Chancellor Dr. G. Pardhasaradi Verma shared that engineering students achieved 100% placements, and students from diverse disciplines including management, pharmacy, agriculture, architecture, and commerce—secured jobs in over 155 national and international companies, including TCS, ITC, Deloitte, Bank of America, and Accenture. This year, over 450 national and 50 international firms participated in our recruitment drives, Dr. Verma noted, crediting the success to industry integration and skill development initiatives. 1,087 students have already accepted offers. Degree students received packages up to ₹10.7 LPA. The Industry on Campus initiative has launched 3 companies on-site, with plans for 15+ more. Pro Vice Chancellor Dr. N. Venkat Ram reaffirmed the university’s targeted placement strategies and focus on student readiness across all disciplines. Top executives such as Bollineni Suresh Babu, Dr. P. Venugopal Rao, VSR Prasad Oruganti, and others personally handed over appointment letters to the selected students. The event concluded with gratitude from students and parents, acknowledging the university’s unwavering support in shaping future careers.

NSS Volunteers and NCC Cadets Enthusiastically Participate in Yoga Andhra 2025

Vijayawada, June 2025 — As part of the state’s flagship Yoga Andhra 2025 initiative, over 400 NSS volunteers from the Government Nursing College and 180 NCC cadets from leading institutions like SRR & CVR Government College, Andhra Loyola, Nalanda, PB Siddhartha, and KBN College are actively participating in daily yoga sessions along the BRTS Road from May 21 to June 21. Today’s special session featured yoga demonstrations and a yoga-themed dance performance by the volunteers and cadets, earning appreciation from NTR District Collector Dr. G. Lakshmi sha, who lauded their discipline and commitment. The event also saw the presence of Dr. Kolleti Ramesh, NSS District Coordinator; Dr. D. Yugandhar, NSS PO of SRR College; NCC officers, and other district officials. The Collector highlighted the importance of yoga in boosting physical fitness and mental well-being, especially among youth leaders like NSS and NCC participants.
